Montana DOJ issues guidance after the Silencer Shop ruling
Montana's attorney general issued guidance to local prosecutors and law enforcement about the federal court ruling and Montana law. The agency also described legislation for the 2027 session. The guidance and proposed legislation are distinct from a law already enacted.
