Receipt and transfer history stay connected

Your daily workflow

From receipt to transfer. A record you can follow.

Whether you handle occasional transfers from home or run a small counter, follow the firearm through the same connected workspace.

Record the acquisition

Enter the firearm details, receipt date, and source. Select a saved distributor to reduce repeat entry. The acquisition creates its business inventory record.

Work through Form 4473

Select the firearm, enter buyer information, and complete the buyer and seller sections. Required-field checks, signatures, and generated PDFs support the review.

Finish the business record

Finalize the transaction and review the related A&D disposition and inventory status. Customer invoices and payment records are available on eligible plans.

Find the history later

Search the book by serial number, review corrections, and export records. Backup and portable records tools help you retain copies outside the app.

For the FFL who also collects

Your business inventory. Your personal collection.

Keep them separate in the same Bolt login. An eligible firearm from a finalized Form 4473 can be added to the Personal Firearms Tracker after its business disposition is recorded.

Use Add to Personal Tracker on the transaction. Re-enter your account password and review the buyer-name confirmation if the name differs. The completed 4473, A&D disposition, and business history remain on record.

Available on eligible FFL plans. Personal tracking does not replace the business transfer workflow.

Business records retained

Finalized Form 4473, recorded disposition, and firearm history.

Separate personal tracker

Organize your own firearms without a second Bolt account.

Before you decide

A few practical questions.

Explore the records and check the plan details against the way you actually work.

Can I use Bolt for a home-based FFL?

Yes. Bolt brings A&D records, inventory, customer information, and the Form 4473 workflow into one account for licensed dealers working from home or a small shop. Check the enabled features on the plan you choose.

Can I try it before entering my own records?

Yes. The public demo contains sample firearms, transactions, and reports. Some discrepancies are intentional so you can explore the review tools. Trial terms are shown with the current plans above.

Will my personal firearms appear in business inventory?

The Personal Firearms Tracker is separate from business inventory and the A&D book. Adding a firearm from an eligible finalized 4473 keeps the business records intact and creates its personal tracking record in the same account.

Can I download records and backups?

Yes. A&D exports, portable records packages, and encrypted restorable backups serve different purposes. Review the backup documentation for what each download contains and the steps to retain and restore your information.

How are my FFL’s records separated from other accounts?

Each FFL’s tenant records use a separate encrypted database. Shared account and billing metadata support the platform separately.
